1. There is one and only one God:
“I am the LORD, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other,
Isaiah 45:5-6
2. The Spirit of God is the word from God’s mouth:
“By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
And by the Wind of His mouth all their host.”
Psalms 33:6
3. the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, Who was both God and man:
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
4. God spoke himself into earthly existence:
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18.
“But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:20
“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
2 Corinthians 3:17
5. Jesus Christ died as a sacrifice to provide remission for our sins:
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
Romans 5:8-9
6. Salvation is attained only through belief in Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God Who is revealed in the Scriptures:
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9.
7. Those who believe in Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God revealed in the Scriptures, will demonstrate their belief through their actions:
What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
James 2:14-17
8. In the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, after which He presented Himself alive to over five hundred of His disciples:
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep.
1 Corinthians 15:3-6
9. The Return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead at the consummation of the ages.
10. The original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek text which make up “the Scriptures” were inspired by the sovereign God yet written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit:
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.
2 Timothy 3:16
for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
2 Peter 1:21
"God did not call me to control your thoughts. You can choose to believe what I teach or disbelieve. That's on you! I'm just doing what I believe God called me to do."
