In this article, I will explain why Yahushuah, that is Jesus Christ, spoke in parables. If you want to learn more about the parables of Yahushuah, subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the notification bell so you are alerted to a new video upload.

You must first understand that Yahushua never intended for anyone who were not his disciples to understand his parables. While it may be a difficult pill to accept, that is the fact.

And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” Jesus answered them, “To you, it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them, it has not been granted.”

His argument is just as stated in Mark 4:4, only his disciples will be able to learn the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, not other people. Additionally, by using the phrase "...outside," he is teasing with the parabolic image of a house, "The House of God." Those who are outside of God's house are committed to believing Satan's falsehoods, therefore they cannot and will not know and comprehend the reality of God's Living word. Furthermore, God has hidden the truth from those who would corrupt the message of the scriptures.

It is also critical to comprehend the author's motivation for utilizing Isaiah 6:9–10 in this section is because Isaiah foretold what would happen when the Messiah came to earth. Yahushua came to fulfill that prophecy (among others) by using parables instead of open statements to educate the public. He adds, "He that has ears to hear, let him hear," in order to guarantee that only his disciples would fully comprehend those parables by giving them an explanation and letting the general public deduce what he meant. That encouragement was not cordial. They were left to fend for themselves by Yahushua.

He said, “Go, and tell this people:

‘Keep on listening, but do not perceive;

Keep on looking, but do not understand.’

“Render the hearts of this people insensitive,

Their ears {are} dull,

And their eyes {are} dim,

Otherwise they might see with their eyes,

Hear with their ears,

Understand with their hearts,

And return and be healed.” -Isaiah 6:9-10.

If you haven't understood Isaiah's memo to the Messiah, he is telling you that Yahushua is supposed to, and did, cause this people, that is the crowds, to keep on listening to his parables and not percieve (them) and to keep on looking into his statements made using these parables and not understand. Yahushua did just that when he gave them parables for teaching lessons. Then he sent them on their way by saying, go figure it out if you have ears to hear, then hear. If someone was able to figure it out then they were among those who had returned and were healed. In otherwords, the physician healed them from their sickness called sin or should I say, "The Sin."

So the writer of the gospel says, “In their case, the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,

YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND;

YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE;

FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL,

WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR,

AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES,

OTHERWISE, THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES,

(They would) HEAR WITH THEIR EARS,

AND (They would) UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART (MIND) AND (They would) RETURN,

AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.

If you could not understand why Yahushua spoke in parables, here it is. And if you thought anything other than this reason, it is obvious that you have been lied to about the purpose for which Yahushua spoke in parables.

The implications of this statement are as follows:

  • Only the disciples received an explanation of Yahushua’s parables.
  • God intended to leave those who do not have a love for the truth on the outside of the house, that is the “House of God.”
  • Those who do not know and believe the truth of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, they will be judged and will face an awesome reality, the destruction of the wicked from the face of the earth.

If you do not believe, you must have missed the point of the parable of the wheat and the tares.

But now for the sake of explanation, I want to tell you what the phrase, “The Kingdom of God/heaven,” means. When John the Baptist came preaching, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven has come,“ you must understand that there was a point very early in Israel’s history, in the land called Canaan, when the sons of Israel sought to have a king like the other nations.

God responded,

Now appoint a king for us to judge us like all the nations.” But the thing was displeasing in the sight of Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” And Samuel prayed to the LORD. The LORD said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people regarding all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being king over them.”

Because of this, God installed a man that he chose to rule over Israel. This is why every human king of Israel was called the Anointed One or His Anointed. Every king, High Priest, or priest received the anointing oil, a parabolic image of God's Spirit, poured on their head. Since the sons of Israel rejected God from being their King, God planned to give them what they wanted until the time when he would come in the flesh of a man, reconnecting with his spirit at his baptism as a very specific parabolic image, claim Kingship, and die for the sins of “the many.” Then at his resurrection, he would completely possess the promise handed down through the years of Israel’s history.

The Kingdom of God did come. The king, God, came in the person and body of Yahushua. The kingdom of God is Yahushua Hamashiach, the God of the Bible, the Living Word of God that he is. This brings up many questions that many pastors can’t explain. That is because they do not know how God can be, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. What christians call the trinity is an image that God is using to mock all the religious world. At some point in time, I will explain that concept. But for now, understand that Yahushua is the God of both the Old and New Testaments. Yahushua spoke in parables because he wanted to keep those who were not his disciples blind, deaf, and dull in the heart, that is; in the mind. This way, they are unable to see the truth like many who will reject what I have written today!
